Last Thursday we welcomed our Grandparents to the school. We wanted to show them how much we appreciate all they do for us and show them how special they are. We sang songs, played the violin and tin-whistle and recited some poems. The parents association put on a delicious spread for everyone and some of our Grandparents told us about what school was like long ago.
Martin Curley spoke to parents and grandparents about the Family History project he has been helping the Senior classes with. He explained how the classes have been using the censuses and marriage records to explore their family trees.
