The children in Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class had a teddy bears picnic in the lovely Autumn sun! They have also been learning all about Autumn in the classroom, fingerprinting their own Autumn trees.

Irish Dancing
All the boys and girls from 2nd class upwards practice their Irish dancing with Grainne every Friday.

Science Experiment in the Senior Room

Busy at Aistear
This September our Aistear theme is ‘The House/Home’. We have the Home Corner (in our classroom tent) where the children play and pretend to cook in the kitchen, eat at the table etc. We also have a construction area where the children built houses and rooms with building blocks. At the Art n Craft station, we had lots of fun creating houses with lollipop sticks, straws and pipe cleaners. We’re having lots of fun learning about ‘Home’!
