The boys and girls had a very enjoyable trip to Athenry Castle today. We have spent many weeks studying the Normans and this trip was the perfect end to the study of the Normans for this year. We learnt all at about the great hall, the basement, the Birmingham family, the medieval town of Athenry and much more. Thank you to all at Athenry Castle who helped to facilitate our trip today.
