Halloween fun!

 The Junior Room have been very busy in the build up to Halloween. They’ve created pumpkin crafts, carved a pumpkin and learned a spooky Halloween song, playing percussion instruments in accompaniment.

Sergeant Feeney

Thank you to Sergeant Feeney who came to our school on Thursday. Sergeant Feeney is a parent in our school and he spoke to us about his latest Peace Keeping mission he was on in Mali. Táimid fíor broduil as! 🇮🇪

Hurling with Liam Gordon

We are delighted to have Liam Gordon back with us for the next 5 Wednesday mornings. Go raibh maith agat a Liam. 

At the Vets (Aistear Theme)

This October the Junior and Senior Infants are learning all about the work of the vet as part of our Aistear theme! We are learning about the vet, the veterinary nurse, the veterinary surgeon, the receptionist and the many different types of animals. 

 

 

Nature Table

The boys and girls have been busy foraging through trees and bushes looking for signs of autumn. The fruits of our labour are here for all to see! 

Clonmacnoise

We had a lovely trip to Clonmacnoise today. Thank you to all the OPW and Heritage Ireland staff who made our trip such a pleasant one, despite the poor weather.
