This year we had our first Literacy Week. We had a very busy week with events and activities like the Book Fair, a trip to Loughrea Library, a visit from the author and storyteller John Quinn, and 'Wear Your Words' Day. The week coincided well with the winners of the 'Write a Book' competition receiving their certificates and medals from the Galway Education Centre. Mr. Kelly's class also embarked on their fashion designer careers designing t shirts with print. Tune in later for the finished result!
